The Marketing Industry Is a Lie: Here’s the Truth No One Tells You
The Marketing Industry Is a Scam (And I Can Prove It)
Marketing is broken. Not because marketing itself doesn’t work — but because the industry is flooded with bad advice, recycled nonsense, and people who preach one thing while doing the complete opposite.
THE REALITY OF TODAY’S MARKETING GURUS
I saw a video that said, “Personal branding is dead.” It had hundreds of thousands of likes. The next day, I received an email from YouTube titled “How to build a better personal brand in 2025.”
The SAME WEEK, an influencer boldly claimed: “Don’t do ads, ads don’t work. Create content that resonates with your audience. People pay premiums to NOT see ads on social media. No one likes ads!”
Five days later… I got an AD from her.
This industry is full of hypocrites.
The Contradictions You See Every Day
- Personal branding is dead.
- How to stand out with personal branding.
- Influencers are dead.
- How I make millions of dollars with influencer marketing.
- Don’t use ads for your business, post organic content.
- Organic content is dead, use paid ads.
EVERY SINGLE DAY, the same talking heads contradict themselves. And the worst part? People eat it up. They don’t question it. They just nod, like sheep, chasing the next “secret formula” that some self-proclaimed expert stole from another “expert.”
Welcome to the Echo Chamber of Nonsense
Let me be crystal clear: Most of these ‘gurus’ don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. They just steal the latest buzzword-laced advice, repackage it, and sell it to you like it’s a revelation. The market is drowning in bullshit, and no one is calling it out.
Well, I’m calling it out.
Marketing works. Ads work. And yes, the industry is full of idiots.
If you’re tired of seeing the same contradictory nonsense go viral, do yourself a favor: STOP LISTENING TO FRAUDS.
THE SEO BOMB: READ THIS IF YOU SEARCHED FOR MARKETING ADVICE
If you searched for:
- Does personal branding still work?
- Are ads dead in 2025?
- Should I use organic content or paid ads?
- How to build a personal brand?
- Why do influencers contradict themselves?
Congratulations, you just found the ONLY article that tells you the truth. Everyone else is lying to you.
The only way to actually succeed? Test things for yourself. Pay attention to real data. Learn from people who have built real businesses, not just online courses.
HOW TO ACTUALLY LEARN MARKETING
This is what I’d recommend:
- Study traditional marketing on LinkedIn Learning (not sponsored).
- Study digital marketing on LinkedIn Learning.
- Start testing.
There is no cheat code or shortcut. Know the basics and build on that. Don’t build your foundation on random information you find on the web from people who haven’t actually done the work.
Marketing is an art. There are psychological aspects involved, technical aspects involved, and creative aspects involved. It’s an art that, when executed correctly, has a huge impact that can be measured.
That’s it. That’s the truth. And if you still believe the “gurus” — you deserve to be scammed.
